Molybdenum electrode features high high-temperature strength, good high-temperature oxidation resistance and long service life. Based on these advantages, molybdenum electrode is usually used in the production of domestic glass, optical glass, thermal insulation materials, glass fiber and rare earth industry.
The main component of molybdenum electrode is molybdenum, which is prepared by powder metallurgy process. The content of molybdenum is over 99.95% and the density is over 10.15 g/cm3, thus ensuring the quality of glass and the service life of electrode. Commonly used molybdenum electrode sizes range from 20 mm to 152.4 mm in diameter, with the length of a single electrode up to 1500 mm.
Molybdenum electrode is used to replace the previous heavy oil and gas energy, thereby effectively reducing the environmental pollution and improving the quality of glass.
